SPECTRA S2 BREAST PUMP
Starting with the most expensive product. A hospital grade pump is a must have! I use this pump 2-3 times daily, and while pumping I massage my breasts to ensure they are emptied between nursing sessions to prevent pain and discomfort.

2. HAAKAA LADYBUG MILK COLLECTOR
While I nursed my son, I used this milk collector on my other breast to collect access milk - I would get 1-4 ounces! Save money, you only need ONE! I liked this ladybug Haakaa as it didn't leak and was a comfortable fit in my bra.
Easy to wash and you can throw in the sterilizer bag (see item number 5)!

3. NIPPLE SHIELDS
My newborn didn't have trouble latching but I did experience some pain. Nipple shields were such a relief! The hospital introduced me and I continued using it. I also think having my newborn latch onto the silicon shield helped him transition to a bottle easier.

4. EARTH MAMA NIPPLE BUTTER
Safe for nipples, safe for babies! I loved this product because it was also safe for my baby! I didn't have to worry about making sure my nipples were clean before nursing my baby again. I applied this after I nursed every time to help heal my nipples.

5. MICROWAVE STERILIZER BAGS
This bag is a game changer! You don't need an expensive bottle sterilizer machine that takes up room on your counters - these bags are inexpensive and you get 30 uses out of each bag! I throw in my bottles, bottle parts, nipples, pumping parts, nipple shields and Haakaa's into the bag, add 3ounces of water and microwave for 3 minutes. I dump everything onto a towel on the counter and let everything air dry.
