Central Florida Wedding

Kasi & Leland - March 15, 2020 - Dr. P. Phillips House

Kasi and I had previously worked together years prior and I was so happy when she reached out to me to coordinate their wedding! I absolutely loved reconnecting with Kasi again. This couple was a joy to work with! Unfortunately this was my one and only wedding in 2020 due to the circumstances of COVID-19. So grateful this sweet couple was able to have the wedding of their dreams just a week prior to the pandemic lockdowns.

If you're looking for a Central Florida venue to accommodate at most 250 guests, look no further! The Dr. Phillips House offers an amazing Victorian charm with both inside and outside locations. Kasi and her girls spent the morning getting ready in the bridal suite while Leland and the guys enjoyed the wine cellar downstairs. The garden has a great set-up for the ceremony and cocktail hour followed by dinner inside the house, moving the party back outside again to the open-floor plan! The couple chose not to see each other before the ceremony, which made the ceremony more special as Kasi made her entrance down the garden staircase!

Guests arrived through the entrance of the Victorian house, signing the guest book and looking over the table assignments as they made their way to the back of house entering the garden ceremony. After they said their vowels and "I Do's" the couple took photos around the gorgeous property while guests enjoyed cocktails and hor d'oeuvres throughout the garden area. The venue makes a quick and seamless transition removing the chairs and accommodating high tops for cocktail hour. I was making sure the details in the dining room were perfect during this time. Tables were dressed in soft white linen, with soft florals and standing table numbers. Wine and gold were the accent colors carried out through the napkins, floral centerpieces and votive candles.

The newlyweds entered the dining room to celebrate with their closest family and friends! The bridal party and family members gave meaningful toasts followed by a buffet styled dinner. After some mingling and cake cutting, the reception continued outside in the garden where the couple shared their first dance under the beautiful garden lights! During this time, I made sure the dining room was cleaned up and organized. I ensured the couples DIY décor and belongings were packed up properly and the venue was cleaned at the end of the night.

The couple was staying on-site at the Dr. Phillips House that night. With the venue centered in the heart of Orlando, the newlyweds and bridal party continued their celebration with a night out in Downtown Orlando.

A few of my favorite highlights of this wedding included the unique elegance of the Dr. Phillips House, the sweetheart table set-up (shoutout to Linens and Flowers Design) and the LED wedding batons utilized during the end of the reception, so fun!!

Kasi and Leland, a huge thank you for allowing me to be a part of your wedding and coordinate your special day! I loved finally getting to celebrate the two of you and I wish you a lifetime of marital bliss! Your wedding was absolutely beautiful.
